One of the best gifts a grandparent can give to a grandchild is some kind of financial support towards an education. Speaking from personal experience, part of the reason I was able to exit my college years with little to no debt was due to the fact both sets of grandparents put money towards my ability to pursue a degree. The older I get, the more I deeply appreciate their decision to do that.
