The farmhouse-style staple is as popular as ever! If you don't have one in your own home, you've surely been inside the home of a friend or business that has one. And you know what? No wonder. You might be wondering: Can anyone have a barn door?

The answer is YES...if you have the wall space. Remember, the door should be bigger than the doorway — an extra inch above and 2 inches on either side. Since barn doors don’t seal openings like regular doors do, they’re not ideal for a hallway bathroom, for privacy’s sake.

Check out all of these inspiring images and article by HGTV to find out where and how people use barn doors throughout their entire home!
